TAILS' DEPRESSION

Chapter Three : Search for a murderer

Outdoor, the rain felt like never before. Water, water, just water and nothing other than that. Umbrella in one hand, chocolate box in the other, a small pink hegdehog, who seems to be a girl, climbed the stairs of his residence. Like everyday before, she rang and waited for his welcome. But, today, nothing. She rang again. Paniqued, she dropped her box and opened the door, unlocked. She was afraid. He never let the door unlocked. "What's going on here?" she said. She started to look in each rooms of the huge house, in a gloom atmosphere. The atmosphere of death. Her eyes opened great and she ran into the residence, and finally stood up in front of the last door of his house. The door of the bathroom. She saw blood on the ground, and fastly opened the door. And she saw. She saw him, unanimated below her. Here eyes became full of tears. She felt on the ground. And, with her little face on his chest, she started to cry. She cried loudly, like never before. She didn't stop her sorrow. And she whispered :
"How... how can it be?" And, with a deep pain, she screamed :
"SOOOOOOOOONIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!"
And she ran outdoor, crying. Without her umbrella. A huge chocolate box in front of the main door. She knew where to go. The Chaotix' headquarters!

The atmosphere was full of joy and happiness at Chaotix' HQ. Charmy Bee, alone in the kitchen, was cooking the supper and singing a little song. Vector, him, slept on the couch, waiting for the lunch. And, in a dark corner of the loft, Espio was meditating, alone in silence. Like if no one murder never happened. They was happy.
"Wake up, big dreamer!" said Charmy. "Lunch coming!"
"Yeah yeah..." said sleepy Vector.
*BANG!!!!*
Everybody screamed. Vector woke up like never and Espio jumped up, ready to fight. But, there was only Amy.
"Hi Amy, do you wanna rest for supper?" proposed Vector, the eyes closed.
He didn't see. He didn't see the tears flowing of her eyes. He just heard it. And, then, he opened his eyes. She was crying on the ground, totally decimed.
"What's going on, Amy?" said Charmy.
"No... no... it can't be true... Sonic..." she tried to say, difficultly.
"What, "Sonic"?"
"SONIC IS DEAD!" yelled Amy aloud.
And then, everybody was petrified. And, they fasly saw the reality. They started to cry.
"Are you sure of that?" whispered Vector, crying discretly.
"Yes."
"Brang me to his house, Amy, please." he said.

The group walked across Station Square, without umbrella. Fastly. Loudly. The rain flows on them. The tears flows out of their eyes. The death in mind. And, at the street corner, they saw Cream and Cheese, happy under the rain with their raincoats. Cream had a pink umbrella over her and Cheese. So, seeing Amy and the Chaotix close to her, she talked.
"Hi there!" she said, happily.
And it's just near of them than she saw the tears on their cheeks.
"Sonic is dead." only said Vector.
Terrified, Cream started to cry loudly.
"Just go to your house, Cream, and call National Police. I think we'll need'em."
"But..."
"Just do what I said." yelled Vector.
And Cream and Cheese came back and start to go to Vanilla's house, with an unstoppable sorrow.

When they arrived to Sonic's house, rain stopped to fall and a colourful rainbow appeared in the sky. With a deep melancoly, Amy, Vector, Charmy and Espio broke the door and entered in the residence. And then, they started to investigate the place. Several hours later, Charmy yelled to everybody :
"Come here, I found something! I'm in the bathroom where Sonic was murdered!"
When they were here, the six-years-old bee shaw to everybody what he found. That was a broken bottle of drugs.
"This is Tails' drugs bottle! And there's several others. All empty!" he explained.
"What with Sonic?" claimed Amy.
"You don't see how Tails was addicted to his medication the last weeks?" said Espio. "I really think than he became addicted and he killed Sonic for drug him!"
"Are you sure of what you advances, Espio? Tails is our friend, don't misunderstand it!" yelled Amy.
"Tails was very deconnected of the reality, these last days." he answers. "I think he needed some drugs to didn't burn out."
"Look at this!" claimed Vector. He showed several holes in the floor.
"They're only holes... maked by what killed Sonic..." whispered Amy before started to cry.
"These holes don't only are holes, they're also Ventorage gun's holes!" explained Vector.
"Ventorage gun?" said Amy, intrigued.
"A special gun invented few years ago by scientists. But they abandoned the project, and the gun be stolen and started to flow in Black Market. This gun is the most powerful exists; it can make a hole in everything of any velocity, any resistance and also any corpse... This is why tracing this gun is a priority for our national agency of security, the NaPo. And now, we know than Sonic was killed with it!" clearly said Espio.
"So, you think than Tails robbed a forbidden gun and killed Sonic for drugs!!??" yelled Amy with anger.
"I don't know, but I know somebody who can help us!" whispered Espio in Amy's hears.

When the NaPo arrived and knocked on the door, the whole group was there, behind the door. Then, Vector walked to the main door and opened it.
"We have to consult the Rapport on Gun Store's Robs, Sells and Homicides right now!" just said him.
The group was invited to follow an imposant guy to a truck's trailer.

Maiev Troyce was reading the last chapters of her book when somebody knocks at the door of her room.
"Who's there" she said.
"Babouine Eure, fourty-five, twenty-one, eighty-two, code FC4" somebody said.
"Open door!" she just said to her computer vocal device.
Just behind that door, Babouine Eure himself and four another animals waited.
"We have to consult the list 58B, Ms. Troyce." said the prenamed Babouine.
"Yes, my Major-General Eure!" she said before sitting on a bureau chair.
"We have to take a look on the events of the last weeks in the gun stores of Station Square" explained Charmy, near to the big screen.
"58B open!" said Maiev. And a huge map appeared on the screen.
" list of robs, homicides and sells of gun stores of the last week " said a robotic voice. " Sectors one, two, four, five and eight, clean. Sells in eight detaillants in sectors three and six. Nothing anormal repported. Rob in a detaillant in sector six. The guy is in jail since Monday. Homicide in sector seven yesterday, in afternoon. The murderer is still free."
"Take a look in sector seven" said Ms. Troyce to the vocal device.
" One homicide in sector 7, at Kill-or-Die gun store. It is the property of the Black Market of Station Square. Videotape available "
"Let us see it"
And the screen changed. Then, the video started. All seems to be well whena guy entered in the store. A shaking guy. A guy than everyone knew here. The second hero of Mobius. And they saw him killed. Killed without hesitation. He was a murderer. Tails was a killer. Everybody was petrified. They started to cry loudly. And they saw him take the Ventorage gun and exits the shop, without sadness.

"Repport activity of suspect Miles Prower since 24 hours"
" He came to the gun store at One Fifty. He took the X-Tornado at One Twenty. He went to Sonic's residence at One Twenty-five. He killed Sonic at One Thirty-one. He went to Rivercliff at One Forty. He tried to suicide himself at One Forty-Eight. He talked to a tree at One Fifty. He's still talking to it." said the computer.
"So, our murderer is still at Rivercliff?" diffiultly said Espio, crying deeply.
"I will kill him!" raged Amy with an unstoppable anger.

Somewhere in Mobius mountains, our murderer opened big eyes.
"You... you are the seed of Cosmo... You are my plant!" he crazily said. "I should be crazy! I talk to something who don't talk!!!"
"I'm not just a plant, Tails. I am the spiritual remains of Cosmo.I am her, but she's still dead. I offer you the chance to be with me forever; you just have to make me free, and I'll tell you how!" said Vivanei
"No... I can't... I... I killed Sonic... I killed a gun vendore... I am a killer... I did drugs... I tried to suicide... I don't merit to be with you anymore, Cosmo!"
"But, you did all that for me... I am honored by your bravoure, Tails... Now, we'll be together forever, if you do what I'll say!" continue the tree.
"No..." Tails walked slowly to the cliff. "I must die... forever!"
"Do you really want to die... Don't you want to live forever with me?" Don't you love me" yelled Vivanei.
"Yes but..."
"Do you really love me!???"
"What have I to do, my dear?" asked Miles, hopeful.
"You have to bring me the three Artefacts of the Fallen Ones : Relic of Birth, who is still in the deepest jungles of this world; Hourglass of Times, somewhere in the depths of time; and finally the Calice of Death, for what you'll have to die with suffering, with a suicidal attempt. But, for be able to see them, you'll have to bring the Stone of the Fallen Ones, who's the stone on the ring of Vanilla, Cream's mother... You'll have to kill her!"
"Yes Cosmo, I'll bring you back!" yelled Tails.
And I took the X-Tornado to join Station Square.

TAILS' DEPRESSION

Chapter Two : Crimes and Drugs

He's awoken quietly early in the morning, when rang his alarm clock, close to him. Tails woke up, and press the button. Like every morning before then, he looked at the picture on his nightable, and like often since his interstellar travel, he cried. Loudly. Deeply. Like a desesperate creature, just before is death, Tails went to the kitchen and made some eggs. And he saw the note from Sonic : "Come to home this afternoon to pick up your medication!". Miles looked below it "P.S. : I cleaned the house for you!". Tails looked around him. He didn't see the cleaness of his house how much he was sad! In his mind, he thanked Sonic and ate his breakfast. After what he washed the dishes and went in his bedroom, to still be crying.

When he came to his room, Tails saw it. Big and quiet, a huge plant stood in one of the corners of Tails' bedroom. His eyes became large-opened. Just yesterday, it was just a seed in a jar of earth. And now, the plant, the one's who Tails thaught it'll never grow, was too big for the jar itself! This plant was the only remaining piece of his lost love, Cosmo.

At the last day of his cosmic trepidation, Cosmo sacrified herself to neutralize Dark Oak, the evil chief of the Metarexes, by becoming a huge white tree, one of her life stats. And Tails had to killed her to destroy Dark Oak and save the whole galaxy from him. But then, he just realized and assumed how much he loved Cosmo. And he cried, cried and cried. And the only thing remained from her eternal love for her is a seed. Her seed. But now, he was petrified by the fast growing of this weak seed who now became a beautiful colourful strong tree.

With a bit of joy on his heart-broken soul, he thaught about planting this tree atop the World, over all the problems of the society and all the machinations of Eggman-sama. Rivercliff. A red stone plateau at the top of Mobius planet. The best place for plant it.

He cleaned his X-Tornado. That one never functioned since a long time ago already. Packing the plant on the back siege of the plane, he took off the X-Tornado to the skies and went to Rivercliff. The place was beautiful. Beautiful and cold. Colder than every places on Mobius. And here, near of a watersource, he planted it.

The time has passed since Tails planted his tree. Two whole weeks have passed already. The tree became strong and very big. But, if Miles seems to be enjoyed all the day, the night is hell for him. Crying, crying, never stop, all the night, under the moonlight... And, added to this, he became addicted to these drugs than Doctor Arméo gave to Sonic. When he took medications, everytime he try to took more than one drug. He was so addicted than he shaked really hard, start to pee blood and feel really bad when he's not under the effects of drugs. So, a day, he burned out.

Miles Prower made a laser-gun and went with the X-Tornado to Station Square. Shaking more than ever, he entered into a gun store and started a hold up. Really angry, he started to say evil things to the vendor.
"Gimme a Ventorage gun, right now!" shouted angrily Tails "if you don't, I will kill you!"
"Ri-rigg-gght-t m-mmmiss-stee-er T-ttail-lls!" said the vendor, totally terrified. "One min-nnut-tte pleas-sse!"
"I don't have time to see ya be lazy, stupid gun seller!" claimed Miles Prower.
And he shooted on the vendor, and killed someone for himself for the first time in his life. Before exiting the store, he tooked the Ventorage gun, the only gun can rivalized with Sonic powers.

Impatient, Tails stepped down of the X-Tornado just before it lands in front of Sonic's Residence. Miles began to cry blood with his eyes. Fastly, he knocked at Sonic's door and wait with pain. When Sonic opened the door of his house, he saw Tails pissing blood by his eyes and shaking hard.
"Oh my god! I'll go phone the Emergency!" said Sonic, paniqued.
"Shut up, sucker of my dick!" shouted Tails with a great anger.
He pointed his Ventorage gun on Sonic's head and said :
"Gimme right now my drugs, or you will die, bastard!"
"Wait, Tails! You need to be brang to the Psychiatric Institute right now!"
Sonic took his arm.
"Follow me and drop your gun before you hurt someone!"
"I said shut up! Gimme my drugs right now or you'll die!" screamed Miles without two pains.
Tails charged his gun and fired at Sonic's feet.
"Now or never" he said.
Sonic' terrified, brang him slowly to the bathroom. When he close the door, Tails kicked him several times and slapped him.
"Open the drugstore!" shouted Tails.
In panic, Sonic made a worse code to open the drugstore. Tails took his gun and made his arm piss blood. Sonic screams. He cried very loudly and fastly re-tried to open the container. He finally successed to open it. Tails, in a deep depression, fastly opened all the bottles of drugs and made them go down in his system.

His pain was gone. He felt like a butterfly high in the skies. He felt high. In an unexplicable anger, he shooted. Without motivation. He killed. Like a demon sent to Earth to bring chaos, he made him die. I killed his own adoptive brother. I killed his best friend. He killed Sonic.

When Tails saw that, the effects of drugs seems to go away. He cried more than ever. He cried more than every in his life. And desesperately, he took off to Rivercliff with the X-Tornado.

The dark character was happy. He had a beautiful and huge view on the whole Mobius. And he will do a victim. A desesperate victim. The victim who will make him free!

Evertears flown on his cheeks. He can be concentrated up in the skies. He cried. He thaught just about death. He killed. He wanna die. He must die. He must exits this world forever. He's a murderer. Tails still flew few minutes in high altitude before lands on Rivercliff. Where the River of Rivercliff go down in the abysses of the earth. It's perfect. He's a murderer. I killed. He must die. All these suicidal horrors, this is the only thing than Miles Prower is thinking about. Death. Liberation. Suicide.

Tails cried. He approached the end of the plateau, where the land stop and go down, very down away. In a last pain crisis, he prepared him to jump away. To break his life. To end it. To die. He thaught about how much he was happy in his life before her death. He thaught about his friends and his enemies. "They will be happy when I will left them. I'm just a killer..." He thaught about her... Cosmo.

I thaught he will never be able to join him. Her was in paradise and him gonna do to Underworld for his sins. For his kills. Sonic will be happy, him. He will go to heavens. But not him. "Just a jump" he thaught. "It's not difficult, I just have to make a move forward to make it break. Forever. And die."

He approached more than early the death frontier. Just before do the final act, the sin of suicide, he thaught : "I hope Cosmo will be happy without me, in Heavens. Anyway, she won't want of me anymore". A last tear flows away of his eyes. He closes'em. And he...

...HEARD A VOICE!!! "Tails, stop it right now... You still can make her reppear!" he heard. Miles Prower turn his loud body and saw nobody. "Who's here?" he said. "Don't you know me? The one you took care of since mother death? I'm am just here, in front of you. Don't you see me? The seed of sorrow, the sorrow of the Universe. Don't you feed me so many times? Don't you know me? You named me! And do you know how? Vivanei. I am the tree of Rivercliff. I am the seed of Cosmo."
